How JAPani Works
An independent anime and anime-adjacent reference project built for clear, practical personal use.
Purpose
JAPani helps readers discover anime, untangle watch orders, understand gacha pity estimates, and browse carefully labeled game-reference archives. The site is unofficial and is not operated by an anime studio, streaming service, game publisher, AniList, or HoYoverse.
Editorial Method
Watch-order guides are organized from release information and continuity notes, then written as practical viewing recommendations. Discovery pages use attributed public metadata while adding JAPani's own structure, filtering, explanations, and source context. Automated results are never described as personal professional advice.
Sources And Freshness
Each feature identifies its relevant source. AniList powers attributed anime metadata. The Genshin reference uses a validated snapshot of the archived MIT-licensed vikiboss/mihoyo-api repository and is prominently marked as potentially outdated. Source data is not presented as original JAPani ownership.
Corrections
Readers and rights holders can report inaccurate information, broken links, attribution issues, or copyright concerns at legal@japani.fyi. Include the page URL and the specific item that needs review.
Advertising And Independence
JAPani may use Google AdSense to support hosting and maintenance. Advertising does not determine watch-order recommendations, source warnings, or correction decisions. Paid or affiliate relationships will be labeled next to the relevant content if they are introduced.
